I took a break from Instagram and blogging because I realized I needed to step back and rethink my game plan. I started blogging as I was passionate about sharing my experiences and mostly to share my experiences and help you pick petite friendly outfits. My blog started off with me sharing my love for fashion and clothes. The fashion industry is moving towards fast fashion and my intention is to share products/ brands that I use regularly.
I had a great time sharing my journey through pregnancy and connecting with so many moms out there. I had the opportunity to meet many people who engaged on my stories and make new friends and revive old friendship. This is the biggest gift that my blogging journey has given me. It’s been fun meeting old friends and new.
Being a mother is far from easy, and every first time mom is on a learning path. These past few months have been the memorable. The digital world is definitely not easy to handle. I was unnecessarily pressurizing myself to post content, when all I needed to do was sit back and take it one step at a time. I’m glad I took the time needed to recoup and rejuvenate.
At this point, I don’t have a huge following, neither am I a big blogger but I don’t want to give up on my blog as yet. I’m determined to make a difference in at least one person’s life. If you’ve read so far, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking around while I figured things out and restarted my passion of sharing great finds on my blog/ Instagram.
It’s soon going to be a year since I had my daughter and postpartum care is so essential for every new mom. Initial few months were tough and I’m thankful for my family’s support throughout those months. Some things that worked great for me were:
Chiropractic Sessions/ Massage sessions: I can’t stress how important chiropractor sessions were for me. Regular massages coupled with Chiro sessions were key to all my body aches. I’ve been getting them done every time I sense pain in my back or arms.
Ayurveda Massages in India: I was in India for a bit and chose traditional Ayurveda massage. This was the best recommendation from family/ friends and I highly suggest getting regular massages if you happen to be in India/ visit India.
I appreciate every one of you who has stuck around! Please drop in your comments and let me know what you would like to see on my page going forward.
