Trees have slowly started changing colors and Fall in Michigan is always so beautiful. This year, fall weather hasn’t set in yet, but as always, it’s chilly in the morning and warm during the day. Fall is the second best time after Summer. Who doesn’t love the sun, right?
I’m just two weeks till my due date, and hanging in there! Until now, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my pregnancy. Things are getting real as I move closer to my due date. The bump is heavy and the baby has dropped. Simple tasks like walking, sitting, and climbing stairs seems like a marathon now. I am definitely coping with the changes in my body and can’t wait to meet the baby. At this point, my feet are always swollen and my carpel tunnel isn’t getting any better. Honesty, my respect for pregnant women has quadrupled now that I have experienced it first hand. It’s amazing how the body changes and you are on an emotional and physical roller coaster ride. No time to be bored at all! It’s such a surreal experience.
Fall Collection - Ingrid & Isabel
If you’ve been following me for the past few months, you know how hesitant I was to try out body-cons. I tried this Boatneck lace maternity dress from Ingrid & Isabel and I love the fit and style of this dress. The sleeves are perfect for Fall and the dress kept me warm during the day. I’m a hot furnace right now and loved that this dress is not too thick. The dress is light-weight and the lining is stretchable. I’m wearing my pre-pregnancy size – Small. The boat neck is an added advantage since it takes attention away from my chin area, and if you are or have been pregnant, you know how that feels as you get closer to your due date.
Ingrid & Isabel as a brand has always been appealing to me since they picture all their clothes on real pregnant women. So, you can be assured of the fit when you buy their dresses. Everything that I got from this brand has been super comfortable. What more would one need during pregnancy other than comfort?
